We are looking for a Service Technician Journeyman III in Madison! In this job, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial truck issues efficiently, perform high-quality repairs, and maintain good communication with supervisor. We are seeking candidates with technical training preferred, CDL or ability to obtain, and knowledge of truck systems.

Pay: $35-45/hr

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Assisted in major engine overhauls under supervision
• Develop the skills to become a certified State inspector
• Perform minor repairs and maintain 95%+ efficiency
• Assist with paperwork, preventative maintenance, fueling/washing trucks
• High school diploma/equivalent, technical training preferred
• CDL or ability to obtain; lift/carry 75 lbs up to 5 feet
• Knowledge of medium/heavy-duty trucks, tools, engine/driveline, electrical, cab/suspension, A/C, air/hydraulic brakes
• Provide your own hand tools up to 1/2 in. drive
• Comply with policies/procedures, complete repair orders accurately, maintain a clean/safe environment
• Basic computer skills, works well in a team
• High attention to detail, organizational/multi-tasking/time management skills
• Strong problem-solving, eagerness to learn/seek information, customer focus
