Mechanical Maintenance Technician

A large manufacturing plant in the Johnson Creek area has partnered with Express Employment Professionals to directly hire a skilled mechanical maintenance technician. This expansive operation will require candidates that can work in all conditions and at heights up to 100 feet. The company has plans to continuously invest in innovative technologies over the next few years. A comprehensive benefits package is available to employees and dependents. Ideal candidates may include millwrights experienced with grain bins, dryers, and shakers; also maintenance technicians from chemical or food manufacturing industries. Direct Hire - you will be a direct employee of the company from day one.
 

Starting Wage: $28-$32/hour

Schedule: 1st shift 7:00am – 3:30pm
(on-call rotation is one full week appx. every 9 weeks)
 

Work includes:

• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for production and research areas
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, gas, steam, water, and air issues
• Perform on the spot analysis of mechanical failures
• Work to improve safety and efficiency of production
• Train operators for simple repairs
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Work at heights up to 100’ and in confined spaces
