Welding - 2nd or 3rd Shifts

Now hiring Robotic Welders/Fabricators for a production facility near Fall River! Training is available for the right candidate—experience welding in High school or as a hobby is a great starting point. Whether you're an experienced welder, or if you're looking to develop your skills long-term, this could be the perfect opportunity!
Pay: $18-$22/hr (Upon hire, you can expect a shift differential of $2/hr!)
Shifts
2nd: Monday to Friday 2:30pm – 11pm
3rd: Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm – 6:00am
****May have to train on 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm***
Responsibilities:
• Inspect and measure pieces accurately using gauges, etc
• Operate weld robots and other machines as directed
• Unload parts and move them to the appropriate place.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt parts to ensure proper welds and positions
• Perform basic MIG, TIG and aluminum welding techniques
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as directed
Requirements:
• Read and understand blueprints, weld symbols, and maintenance instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Perform and pass a weld test
• Understand fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Be detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
• Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills in English
• Previous experience with overhead crane is a plus
• Take instruction and orders well
