Now hiring an X-ray Radiographer for a production facility here in Watertown! They are looking to add someone in their Quality Department on 2nd Shift. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing company that serves a variety of high-compliance industries including military, aerospace, and energy. Candidates must be willing to learn and use NDT techniques such as liquid penetrant inspection (FPI, MPI). DIRECT HIRE.
Shift: 2nd
Responsibilities
• Perform inspection of castings and welds.
• Process and analyze film and digital radiographic images.
• Interpret results using knowledge of codes, standards and customer specifications.
• Review new orders with the Engineering Team
• Keep accurate records and logs of inspections
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED required
• Post High School education in NDT or a technical field preferred
• Certification to RT Level II, to SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, Navsea Tech Pub. 010/271 or willingness to become certified. Candidates with radiographic or FPI experience will be considered.
• Ability to written, practical, and visual acuity (near vision) examinations.
• Experience with DDA, CR (digital X-ray) protocols or CR/DDA Level 2 certification desirable.
• Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions 100% in English
• Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and team player.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
