Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:15pm
Pay: $85-110K + monthly and annual bonuses
Work includes:
- Maintain local, state, and federal compliance (OSHA, DOT, DNR, EPA, DHS, and State of Wisconsin) for required written safety programs, training, audits, and documentation.
- Coordinate Safety Committee for overall effectiveness.
- Conduct and coordinate facility inspections, audits work practices, and ensure that corrective action is initiated
- Conduct the safety training for new hire orientation
- Trains, counsels, and advise staff on all safety issues as necessary
- Manage Workers Compensation Program
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management, or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of safety codes, OSHA, EPA DOT, DHS, and State of Wisconsin health regulations
- Working or advanced knowledge or experience in workers compensation
- 5-7 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting
