We are now looking to hire a Fabrication Supervisor on 1st shift in Fort Atkinson! As the Fabrication Supervisor you will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, maintaining a flexible, cross trained workforce, utilize lean manufacturing tools (5S, one-piece flow, standard work, etc), and manage labor and material variances. Experience in leadership in a manufacturing setting is required!

Pay: $75-85K/year

Schedule: 1^st shift Monday-Thursday 4am-2pm

Work includes:

• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring adherence to all safety policies, conducting safety tours, and encouraging near miss/accident reporting
• Maintain a flexible, cross-trained workforce
• Collaborate with the Production Trainer to implement training plans and track progress
• Utilize lean manufacturing tools (5S, one-piece flow, standard work, etc) to drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity
• Manage labor and material variances
• Lead daily huddles, monitor production schedules, approve labor reporting, and audit shop orders and payroll
• Conduct annual performance reviews, maintain discipline records, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role, combined with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
• Associate Degree in Production Management or related field or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of ISO 9001-2015
• Ability to effectively lead and coach employees
• A goal-driven self-starter
